Divine Dimensions Uganda Limited derived its initiation from factors surrounding the future of tea and its profitability given an opportunity to growers and and tea business industry. One of the astounding fact is that, tea is only agriculture product whose price has never gone down on the world market.
This assures and ensures the future of tea to every one involved including farmers, producers, exporters and the country at large.
Given that, Uganda has 200,000 hectares suitable for tea growing and 24,000 hectares has been utilised to date but with emphasis on tea growing in Uganda by the President as part of the government’s action plan on poverty eradication in the rural areas, this part of the country is yet to experience the benefits of tea which is commonly referred to as “green gold”.
